Why We Started
Across Nigeria, indigenous ingredients such as baobab leaves, okra, locust beans, cereals, and spices are naturally nutritious and form an essential part of our daily meals. Yet many consumers still struggle to find products that are professionally processed, hygienically prepared, and conveniently packaged. We saw an opportunity to preserve our food heritage while introducing modern processing methods that prioritize hygiene, quality, safety, and convenience.
The Problem We Are Solving
Many indigenous ingredients are still traditionally processed and sold unpackaged, requiring consumers to spend extra time cleaning and preparing them before cooking. At Arewabloom, we source quality raw materials, inspect and sort every batch, clean where appropriate, use modern drying methods, process under hygienic conditions, and package in food-grade materials — resulting in safe, quality, ready-to-use products families can trust.
